Is this a good deal or would I be disappointed?

I found that an eyeglass screwdriver, the kind you get in the little cheap kit at the grocery store, worked better. It's flat, so it doesn't tend to warp or break the little plastic caps nearly as much. And unlike an icepick, it's not sharp so my clumsy fingers didn't get poked.

YES! Thank you! That is what I ended up using, its been a WHILE since I messed with cig-a-likes, but you jogged my memory!

I watched a video on youtube by Matthew Olmstead, Mistic Ecig Review

This video (and Matthew in general) helped me A TON when I was first trying to understand the world of e-digs. Basically, an icepick or a (sturdy) paperclip inserted into the hole, just pry the cap off, and there will be a silicon O-ring in the top, take that out (don't lose it) and drip your juice in the cotton around the sides of the cartomizer. Be careful not to get juice in the middle hole. When the cotton is saturated, put the O-ring and cap on, and blow from the bottom connection through the cartomizer out of the mouth piece to get any excess juice out. Then just take a cotton swab and clean the connection and you are good to go! Hope this helps!

Thank you! Worked great.

My daughter and I recently switched from cigalikes to Evods, and we could not be happier. Our Evod batteries are 650 mah and last us most of the day, if not all day, depending on if we chain vape, so you will get longer use time between charges with 900 mah. The Evods are easy to maintain, and the coils can be cleaned and reused, rather than throwing out cartos - this is a big win for us, as we are also on a budget.

The pricing sounds good to me, since we paid just about $10 less for 650 mah batteries. Make sure you get some replacement coils to have on hand, and, when the budget allows, get a glass tank for eliquids such as cinnamon, citrus, etc., that are known to ruin plastic tanks. My daughter found out the hard way why I was so insistent on waiting to get the Evods until we could get a couple of Protank Mini 2s (glass tanks) - about a week after we got the Evods she loaded some Mt. Baker Vapor Wild Cherry into her tank (it is listed on their site as a tank cracker) and it totally ruined the plastic Evod. Lesson learned - sometimes Mom really does know best.

FWIW, I am currently using both iClear 16 single coil (I think what used to be the Ce4?) and iClear 16 dual coil clearo's and have been running almost exclusively "tank-crackers" for the past three weeks. I (knock-on-wood) have not had a single tank crack. Innokin seems to make EXCELLENT products, and I will likely stick with them as my brand of choice.

Since I now know how to refill the cartridges, I'm going to hold out until I can get a better kit and buy it online.

Eskimedic926---yeah, sometimes mom does know best is right!

Yes since i dont have a b&m store anywhere near me all my purchases are from online. not only do you need to watch what you buy but from who you buy it. check rating/reviews and ask here for any advice before jumping on a deal :)

Is Vapor Kings a good place to buy from?

Vapor Kings is an excellent place to buy from. I've used them for 2 years. They don't carry fake stuff. Order in the morning, it will ship out same day. They've been around for a while, 100% trustworthy.

To the OP, I have no idea why people are telling you that isn't a great deal. $50 for an evod kit ?

At the sites people are mentioning, each (one) evod clearo is about $6.00 and the evod batts are about $19.00 each. The chargers at least another $10-15. Add that up and add postage. Dunno why people are saying you will save up to $20 online cuz you will not. :)

Your brick and mortar has a stellar deal.

I think it is beneficial to do business with a local B&M if at all possible, and feasible. Its great to have a place to go if you have a question or a problem. My local B&M set me up with my first equipment (Ego battery and EVOD, etc.) and I still go back and make sure I buy stuff periodically. Great place to see some of the stuff people talk about here on the forum and ask questions...
