Tim got his first ecig in last week. It's an E9(KR808D-2) from e-cig.com. (yes, I know, not a great retailer... live and learn!)
He liked it initially, but hasn't really had a chance to try it out as he ODed on nicotine his second day. He was vaping in the car on a 36mg carto.
So we need more cartos and juice for refilling and trying out different flavors and nic densities. This looks like a pretty good deal, but I'm just not sure...
LeCig LeLiquid - D2 Tasting Kit - 11mg Strength
Pros:
It's definitely more cost effective than ordering these items separately (from this supplier) and it's like you get the syringes for free, basically.
Free Shipping
Cons:
The juice is Dekang... I've heard quality and safety is iffy on these. (Online consultant said they will have USA made in 2 weeks, but we need to make an order now)
It's not set up to give me a variety of nic strengths.
What do you think? Is this a good buy? If not, can you point me to a better one?
We do intend to get into DIY juice eventually, if there is a good starter kit for that it might be a better way to go as long as it isn't too pricey.
Also, I have a few questions on cartos:
If we plan to refill, is it better to get blanks or pre-filled?
Are blanks made of sturdier stuff?
Is it fine to fill a tobacco flavored carto with a different tobacco flavor?
And can anyone point me to a softcap carto that will work for the E9?
Thanks!
