You are going to get a lot of answers to this question, many for and many against.

Those for will say it is the 'best thing since sliced bread'. Those against will say 'wait awhile, it's not right yet'.

Me, I haven't used the tank so I will put myself in the camp of 'I'll wait awhile'.

Cheers.

Edit: Mind you, I've just recently moved to WA. Some say that stands for Western Australia, others say it stands for Wait Awhile.

I am about to place the order. Funny thing the owner of the site is like 20 mins away from me. It looks like a good deal and with that big of a battery and the tank I hope I made the right choice. Thanks for the input so far please keep the unput coming even though I place the order right now lol.

I think it's a solid way to start. As you order, you might want to also add a standard cone and a few cartomizers to the list. That way, you can try those too, and see how you like them. I find the cartomizers are great for when you;re on the move. They're a bit smaller in the pocket. Also, maybe add one two two 510 atomizers, and a drip tip. That way, you have a good way of testing different juices, a couple drops at a time. Overall, a great way to start. Even if you don't like the tanks, you can play with other methods of vaping.

Good choice want to quit. Long lasting batteries and a good ecig to use.

Remember the most important decision you made is to switch to vaping and quit the cigs. :toast:

I never thought I'd be able to quit after decades of smoking and yet I did. So best of luck to you.

As you get into vaping you'll find the ecig you prefer and that works best for you. Same with the ejuice. Everyone has their own personal preferences. It's a learning curve as you go along.

If you get frustrated with it.. you don’t need a new kit, with that same kit you can try atomizers and cartridges, mega atomizers and mega cartridges ( what I use now ), cartomizers, dripping, etc for not a whole lot of extra money.

I started with the tank, my wife still uses the tank... it works and got me off of smoking.

That's kind of what I was thinking. It's not what I'd recommend starting out but, at least most of it's useful for other things.

Why would you not recommend this unit?

With the eGo-T, you either love it or you don't. It was the first real PV I ever had. I found the wicking system to be finicky and prone to problems which I learned to fix. However really just because I wanted to see how other systems worked, I got some 510 atomizers, some carts and a drip tip. Have you noticed how many of the people that say they provide great flavor and vapor also say this is the only unit they've tried? I found carts and atomizers to provide better flavor. Dripping does even better. There is the hassle factor of refilling a lot but, you use less juice and you don't have to pull the pucture plate to give it a good cleaning or to adjust a wick.

This is my opinion and I already know that those that are sold on the eGo-T are going to be on here telling you how wrong I am in just a moment. Say something bad about an eGo-T or a go-go and that's inevitable. That'll be their opinion too. :)

No worries, it's a good kit because it's flexible. Trying the other stuff mentioned will only set one back ~$20. The ego is a pretty good platform for experimentation. I use tanks sometimes and cartos others. During the day, I will sometimes drip, at the computer. It was worth the extra dough for the tanks in one of my ego kits, and those 1000mah batts are my favorite.

So far, I haven't found Nirvana. I'm now playing with the Go-Go, which some love, but I haven't made up my mind yet. I'll probably order a Reo, when they come available again. Regardless, I'm glad I bought that 1st ego. I keep coming back to it, and the Ego-T. WHile typing this, I just did a taste test between the ego-t, ego with carto, go-go, and dripping 510 atty. 510 atty wins, but the ego-t is 2nd, in my book (I'm still a newbie, so take that for what it's worth). I just like something about the draw on the ego-t.

I haven't yet had all the problems people mentioned, though I did have to fiddle with one atty. Every now & then, when I get a bad hit off of my tank, I shake it around a bit... oddly, that seems to work. Then again, I bought a kit labeled (gen 2-3), so maybe that makes a difference. But that Go-go is just too big/long to fit in my pocket. The ego-t is stretching the limits, but the 1000mah batt with a carto is just right.

Overall, you done' good!

Thanks for the positive and negative input every information is helpful information.

About direct dripping: Since I have these somewhat tanks and still dont really know how everything works until it arrives at my door Iwould like to know how I can direct drip with my unit? Do I need to take the tank out and replace it with a cartomizer?

(I seriously have no clue what I am talking about with cartomizers Atomizers, PCC, PV, I feel like being from mars talking like that)
