So my lovely wife bought me a little something for the birthday.
She went the fastech route and grabbed a Vapelyfe "style" hybrid
kit in stainless (see: counterfeit). It was packaged fairly well,
given that FT isn't known for their extra care. However, the
plastic case it comes in is smashed and cracked; and two of the
clips are broken/useless. The really aweful part is the 510 connection
on the cap does not move, it's completely stuck, and no amount
of force is able to move it.

I do like the look of the mod with the hybrid rda, but have not
tested it. Since I'm not a fan of logo'd cloned devices, this one may get
chalked up as a complete loss. Of course, I won't tell her ...
I can hate a mod and will always love her. It's the thought that counts.

Pros: None, besides it being a gift
Cons: Busted, stolen junk
Recommended: Uh, nope. Pay retail people.

I have an authentic Vapelyfe, the one that comes in the pelican case. Mine is Brass.

The Atomizer is terrible, the airflow holes are in the juice well, so any juice getting into the well promptly leaks. They are also in the 4 separate corners of the atty, so I'm not sure how one is supposed to position the coils to make sure air is flowing onto them....

The mod itself is great looking, however you have to loosen the battery rattle screw until it's almost disconnected to keep most batteries from rattling. Talking 18650. I tried Sony vtc4 and vtc5, the purple Efests, and lg he4s.

I got mine from a friend, luckily, so I got it a bit on the cheap. Still, was much more expensive than any of the clones I've seen.

I guess the real lesson here is to stay away from this mod completely? Clone or authentic....

You got the wrong clone.

I have the copper vapelyfe set by tesla.
No spiffy pelican case, but all 3 tubes, top cap and hybrid atty.

The atty sux, just like the authentic. The mod hits like Mark Hunt.
It's a beast.
One of my favorites out of the 60+ mods I own.
