Is this an eGo Clone?

Is the eGo made by Bauway a clone, it has a different package and is significantly cheaper than some others that say "eGo" on the box. Who knows, they both could be clones, its so easy to do?

Anyway to tell? Does it even matter much?

I have an eGo "knock-off", which has a gold band and is made by Bauway. I haven't had any problems with it and I love it! Got it from madvapes!

It doesn't matter. All the cigs are made in China. I have a real one and a clone and my clone is working better.....Go Figure.

That's weird. I like the button on my Joye ego much better than my Riva. Better to me is how's it's recessed as opposed to the Riva that protrudes quite a bit. To each their own.

I second that. Started with an eGo kit. One of the batteries had the "locked-on" problem. The supplier replaced it with a Riva battery. After comparing the buttons on each and the more powerful Riva battery, I bought a Riva Kit as a backup. 5 months later, all my batts (including the one remaining eGo) are working very well. The eGo batt does occasionally stick on me, but I've never seen it happen with the Riva batts.

The eGo is a great unit, but I think the Riva is just a bit better. The gold band on the Riva will discolor, but it won't go off on its own. Plus the Riva generally costs less than the eGo.
