Petem- seems like your on to something. And from the link you posted a suggestion from Bageone stated that the batteries are made by one company and that would leave kits to be packaged by others. Could be that a lot of other parts may be generic and supplied to other ecig makers. So the problem with bad batteries, especially when they are on sale would leave one to think that vendors are emptying their old stock. See my Stale Stock Conspiracy in LowThudds thread My eGo batts...So what gives?
That is one problem in itself. But the sale of clones and using anothers logo is the other problem. That can only be dealt with by exposure of the greedy vendors. We are not regulated----yet so we have to do this thing ourselves. And the problem with stale batteries, well maybe there is a way to get these ecig guys to date the batteries or as LowThudd related to me, Greenhouseone.com has the best warranty going right now, 1 year.
Went looking and their price for the Ego is great (is it a genuine Ego for sure?
1 year warranty?
