is this battery safe

I got a sigelei battery with a vv mod I bought a while back I have used it from time to time in my mech mod never going below .5 ohm anybody know what its safe to fire at.........liCoO2 battery... 2200mAh 3.7v 18650

Without knowing the amp limit of that battery you should probably not use it, and certainly not use it with sub ohm coils.

Sounds to me like an Unprotected Li-ion by a different name. It'll probably be rated as 5C which is 15amps.

In other words, an ICR up to 15 amps. Basically, a bike or flashlight 18650.

On that battery I wouldn't use it below half an ohm. And you are within the safety parameters of that battery.

You are probably looking at the SANYO UR18650FM cell, and it is only a 2c rated battery. Would work just fine in a LED flashlight set at low output. Can't think of anything else I would want to use it in.
