Tough love - cut him loose. Sooner or later he will figure it out on his own. I have a very low tolerance for moaners. If he doesn't want the job, there are a hundred more out of work people who would take the job in a minute.

I, too, had to "cut a friend loose" pretty recently.

Funny enough, after getting upset at me, he almost instantly got a job and came back apologizing and thanking me.

Remember this next time he asks you for something. Let him know its in HIS and YOU FRINDSHIPS best interest.

He will most likely thank you after...Maybe not immediately, but he will....

We'll I've taken community advise and told my friend he's been cut off, no car without gas $$ up front, no more raiding my kitchen, or anything else that costs me money. Told him he's allowed to use my computer/net only for looking for jobs and checking his email and he's only allowed to respond to job search related emails. He's pretty peeved off lol but Hopefully you guys are right and he'll get a job soon and not be mad at me anymore
