Is this legit?

Hey all, I don't know if any of you have gotten this e-mail or if anyone is aware of it, but I got two e-mails from V4L today, one saying:

Vapor 4 Life: Profile is deleted

You have received this notification from Vapor 4 Life because you are a registered user or you or some other registered user requested some information for you from our store.
Dear Mike Strawbridge,
Your profile is at Vapor 4 Life has been deleted. Thank you for using our shopping system Vapor 4 Life

Fax: 847-239-5374

A second e-mail came about shortly thereafter, and it says the following:


PLEASE READ!!! Re: Vapor 4 Life: User profile was deleted

Effective 10/21/2010 we have a new and improved customer service portal. Please direct your web browser to V4L :: Support Ticket System from there you can choose to create a ticket or chat with us during business hours.

I knew of no reason that my account would be deleted, so I checked here, and saw no mention of major moves from the V4L crew. Upon logging in, I saw that my account at V4L had NOT been deleted.

Can anyone explain what's going on with all this? Has it been happening to anyone else?

Hey Guys,

We are building a new website and we were doing some testing this morning and we had a glitch. Your profile has not been deleted from our main website. I apologize for the mistake. Our new site is not quite ready yet, but it should be up in the coming weeks. So to sum up, anyone that got that email can just ignore it.

Sorry folks.

Cool, thank you. I just didn't know if someone might be out there building a similar-but-not-real site and phishing.

It is great to see you guys are working on a new website! The old website is okay, but a little outdated. Looking forward to seeing the new one once it's ready
