How do you turn this feature back on? I just upgraded Firefox and now its gone.

+1 for this - I'd like to be able to include this in the instructions thread in the new members forum. (is it in about:config somewhere?)

Also, if it can be turned off in IE, that would be good to know.

I just posted a reply to another thread and noticed that when I abbriviated the word was underlined with a dotted line. If I put my mouse over the abbreviation, it tells me what it means. For example the word atty vg or pg. put you mouse over it and it will say attomizer or whatever.

Maybe it has always been there and I was just too dense to notice :confused::lol:


well heck, i guess the old saying is true that you learn some thing new everyday as ive just learned some thing new?

I'm using firefox 3.5 on a linux box and I can see the dotted lines but not the words when I mouse over.

Maybe a linux thing?

Could be. Out of interest, do you see the "alt" text when you hover over images?
