Hey everyone mike again,

Well ive been vaping for about three days now and I was just wondering if what im experiencing is normal. When i smoked a cigarette of course I would get a buzz and an occasional cough. Now to describe my vaping experience. Well been vaping the ego for three days with a drip tip and 8mg juice(PG), on the exhale i cough, with some force(does this mean the juice has a good throat or is it something else). I have a sore throat and my lungs kinda feel sore/heavy, sorry the feeling is kinda hard to describe, also noticed a little itch.

Its weird because since ive been vaping I havent gotten a buzz yet(is the juice not strong enough). I dont know if this will help you guys with the questions but here is some background on my analog use, and why I chose the 8mg.

From my understanding a 5ml bottle at 8mg nicotine= 8mg/ml is that right or is it 8mg in the whole bottle? I chose that strength because I used to smoke camel wides(blue pack), I believe each analog was about .9 nic. So 3 drops of 8mg should= 1.2mg nicotine a little more than 1 camel wide. I think im inhaling right, I push the button down for about 5-7 seconds and slowly draw the vapor into my mouth, let go of the button, inhale and finally exhale(but no buzz). Another side note I was never a big smoker Ive only had about maybe 27 cigarettes in my life. Well guys I know that was alot of info but if you all have any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Yes, that's right

So 3 drops of 8mg should= 1.2mg nicotine a little more than 1 camel wide.

There are several definitions of exactly how much a 'drop' is. It also varies with viscosity. The 'average' answer you will find is that there are 20-25 drops in 1 ml. If you really want to know for sure, you could always drip into a graduated container and count how many drops it takes to get to 1ml. But if you are trying to make an exact conversion from analog cig nic to vapor nic, you'd be wasting your time because the absorption rate is different.

Generally speaking, if you are vaping 6mg/ml and not getting the satisfaction you want, bump up to a higher nic level like 8 or maybe even 12 mg/ml.

As with many things, the numbers don't really tell the whole story. Go with what feels right and to heck with the math.

pg liquids have been know to irritate the throat, and feel heavy on the lungs.. Its a lot more th.. I started vaping at 100% pg , and quickly switched to 70%pg 30%vg and I havent had a problem... you might get the "buzz" if you switch to a higher nic level, but it won't last long if you vape a lot because like analogs the body will get used to it

Not in any way trying to sound like a smart*** but why even start vaping? If you have lived your whole life and only had 27 cigs(i can smoke that in a day), maybe your body is trying to tell you something. Now i have had great success getting off analogs with vaping but if I could go back many many moons ago I never would have started. i hope in the future I will be able to quit vaping as well. Good luck to you!

You don't really get a buzz with ecigs. The buzz of cigs is carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, i.e suffocation, as well as 4000 chemicals.

8mg is per ml

What is the ohms of your carto? If LR you could try normal resistance. And even if you are only using 8mg (lower than ultralights) if you are vaping constantly you can get too much. Try juices with some VG. Having a bit of Vg will smooth the irritation (but dull the flavor and TH somewhat). On an atomizer try 70PG/30VG. In cartos I find 20% VG or less makes my cartos work well longer.

I concur..i wouldn't have started last time if i knew it was so bad. Now....i have to live off vaping.

I would encourage 0 nic and some flavours if you want that once in a while kind of smoke.

Cheers!
