I find it odd you only like the cinnamon., When I just started, I liked the tingle when you inhale it. A few other things do that. Menthol, mint and lime and I'm sure there are more.

like a month or two in I had a huge allergy outbreak. I think the immune system just goes nuts. Maybe smoking sort of repressed some reactions? I don't know but I was miserable. my wife was going "maybe that stuff is making you sick" and I just ignored her and kept going.

You can buy unflavored juice to try. However, buy more of what you can tolerate and keep going. There are hundreds of juice shops out there. My advice is buy small bottles to try. Lots of people start with cinnamon. Lots of people come on here and ask if vapor is causing whatever reaction. Make sure you aren't inhaling burnt wick material. I think that is a serious irritant.

burnt wick material will taste like burnt plastic smells if you know what i mean. Just an acrid bitter taste that overpowers any flavor you have. That's why I myself have sworn off the cartomizer unless its contained in a tube tank. Try the clearomizers with the actual wick not filler. They are called CE2s there are also the larger CE4 and CE9 tanks which use the same tech. A single wick like an oil lamp for comparison, draws fluid the same way. And the atty is at the top so you can see directly if its gunked up which is nice. and you can see how much fluid you have left which prevents accidental dry burning and popping attys. If you haven't tried them yet i would order a couple, first time i tried one it was the best vape I have had other than dripping they make plumes of vapor and have far superior flavor.

I'm having similar issues. My first day(Wednesday) was fine, but now every cartomizer tastes like chemical and leaves my mouth and throat feeling like i gargled cleaning fluid. I'm hoping it's a PG/VG ratio thing. I ordered some blank carts and juices from some other places.
It's so frustrating. My hopes were so high that 1st day and now I just want to have a real cig and a good cry :-/

Does anyone know the PG percentage in the prefilled cartomizers they sell from V2 Cigs & those kiosk things at the mall?

Lots of good info here-

It could be symptoms of quitting smoking or dehydration. I drank lots of water and used sugar free throat lozenges. Your taste buds go through weird changes when you start vaping and they start to come back alive. Hang in there. I assume the V2 or many prefilled cartos are PG, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thank you for the link!
Definitely have the sore throat and cotton mouth. And maybe menthol mouth? Hopefully it's just withdrawal issues and/or brand specific issues with the carts. I saw on the V2 forum, some folks were having problems with their menthol carts lately.
I'm drinking lots of water and working on my ecig inhaling technique.
57 hours smoke free and hangin in....

Yeah, I have the CE4 Ego, so I'm pretty sure it's the kind of wick you're talking about. I haven't noticed any burnt taste yet. But I don't let the tube get down to nothing.

yup then any problem wouldn't be related to dry wick and the CE4 when they do run dry its more of a bitter taste from burnt fluid because the wick material in those cant burnt you can run them red hot dry burn after cleaning to burn all the crud off them. Its the same stuff they use to seal wood stoves its made of silica, so its pretty much a spun glass fiber that's really fine and can take extremely high heat. The filler in cartos is a plastic fluval of sorts.
