I think it is working out by them sending me two 18350's to replace the small green battery's. But sure as the world is round I am going to like vaping at the higher voltage and have to order two more 18350's

You are going to have threads exposed with 2 18350's on a MRS V2, it won't screw down all the way. Not to mention the 8.4 volts on fresh batteries, you better have some 5 ohm atties and even then it is to much voltage for them. No need to go above 6 volts unless you are going VV. Get the short tube to use a single 18350 @ 3.7 volts and LR atty so you don't end up with 2 more batteries you cant use. MadVapes is going through growing pains, they just doubled they're warehouse Sq. footage and Simone moved away so they have a new CS lady who is still learning the ropes.
Hang in there!

Am lmao as I type my responce to the 18350 3.7 batterys I just recived in the mail today. Wish you had made that post 4 days ago, now I have the problem you just said. Well its sure one way for them to force you to buy and keep buying from them. Guess Ill have to spend a few more dollars and order the short tube and some low ohm cartos and low ohm attys hell may as well take the hack saw to it and truly mod it by cutting the bottom off and extending the tube re weld it and then I have a one of a kind pos MOD that I am un happy with. Ahh hell I have a better idea, I will keep the chit that does not work or fit and just look for a mod to buy or make that it will work in. I should not have to make but a couple more orders from them and hell who knows I may be able to open a e-store and sell things to people and tell them yes they will work. Sorry for the attitude it is not ment to be directed at any one but HELL.

Hmmm, excuse me but I must confess after looking at the items that I purchased from MadVapes, I am a blooming idiot. After reviewing what I was supposed to get with my MRS v2 and what I seemed to think I would be getting I got what they listed. Also another confession about the battery's they sent me today 2 18350pcb3.7 volt. As I read the specs no where in there specs did it say you can use 2 18350's but if you want to use a 18350 you need a short body. Again my .... is the blackest. Pinky promise to read, read and re-read every thing I purchase for ANY one after the time I have gave them and my self. I hope if I offended any one that all will be forgiven. Thanks to all who have read my stupid crap and tried to make since of my stupid rants about is this normal, sorry to say it must be me again. :-(

Don't worry about it Jerry, it's happened to a lot of us. Just glad to hear that things are getting squared away for you. MadVapes has a 'ticket' system on their website to use for any ordering / customer service issue. The one time I had an issue, filled out a ticket and had my missing item in a few days.

The one thing that should be pointed out to newbies in a sticky (maybe it already is??) is that a lot of vendors are very small operations, some even operating out of their houses. Despite this, or maybe because of it, most CS issues can be handled quickly.

@ jerry, well now that you have what seems to be a vast oversupply of batteries in all sizes and shapes and voltages, the best way out of this terrible problem would be just to buy a variety of mods to fit them.

Or better yet stop over the Modders forum and learn how to make a mod of your own for any size battery. :) there's nothing better than vaping something you made with your own hands, side benefit is you learn the ins and out of different batteries, different voltages, and how your PV really works!!
(and it's fun - easy)

Yeh I was going to add, do your homework and double check it before you turn it in, if you get my drift.
Relax man, your going to end up with 2-4 of every size battery soon enough anyway and about a dozen more mods to go with them. Remember though you traded a bad addiction for a good one and the money your saving on analogs will still be more than you spend vaping even with a dozen mods.
I wouldn't swear off MadVapes ever, there is no other company catering to modders like they do, so if you plan on modding you will buy from them again.
And this is my 5th post so I'm off to the modders section, see ya there!

It would be foolish of me to swear off MadVapes, in spite of my and the cs mistakes, I need parts from them like a short body for my MRSv2 and Dekang USA 24nic blend......and......and....lol

I think Stosh may be on to what I should do. I am going to order a short tube and some cartos that I can vape @ 3.7v just to solve my issue. Now since I have a thick head and want some clarity, do I need low ohm cartos with 3.7v or do I need high ohm cartos? Do the dual attys work well at the lower voltages?

Well I think that was me that gave you that advice, but I'm not looking for credit. Stosh is full of it! [great advice that is].
I like 2.0 ohm on 3.7v and 4.5 or 5.0 on 6v. The DC's are hard on batteries and I don't think they perform very well with the 18350. But on 5v to 6v they rock. My sweet spot is around 4.2v to 4.5v with the DC's. Get a VV mod and you will be able to use any atty or carto you wish with the twist of a knob.

So thats what VV mod is ..... twist a knob and vape with any atty or carto. Two thumbs up!

Correct! With VV you can pick the atty/carto you want to try, then change the voltage of your PV up or down until it performs the way you want it to. If it is too cold/not enough vapor then turn up voltage. If it pops or is too hot you can turn it down. If you burn it out, you went too far or need to try something different.

I only see 1 charger that is sold with batteries in a bundle ... it is described as "Haoba rcr123a 3 volt Battery Kit". It is not the TR-001. Did you order them separately or is there a bundle that I missed? Only asking since if they are bundling with that charger, they should know about this so someone else doesn't plug the 3.0 volt batts into it.

Also, maybe they didn't ship you the wrong batteries, but the wrong charger??? Were you after 6.0 volt vaping (maybe with a spacer in the MRS)? Did you purchase the Haoba rcr123a 3 volt bundle?

@ AttyPops,
When I ordered them last week they were sold to me separately and thru no fault of my own it is just what they said I needed. lol
Sorry I must have over looked your post till I re read the whole thing this morning.

Glad to see you are getting it all worked out, and props to you for admitting your part in it!!

It's easy to get lost in the world of vaping. There are SO many things to learn and umpteen different variables. Just remember that most of us here will jump to lend a helping hand and there are pages and pages of information for the taking!
