Okay!

My Vapor Tek shopping cart is pretty full, but I don't want to check out till I'm sure I've got a reasonable bunch of stuff. So here it is:

~ 20 Inawera flavors
~ 120ml 100mg nicotine.
~ 10 x 50ml bottles of "Inawera VPG Plus Base: 70% PG + 26% VG + 3% demi-water + 1% etylomaltol" = 500ml (I vape 6mg non-tobacco juice.)



This seems like oceans of niquid to me, but I can't see how else to do it . . . ?

Is there anything else I need?

That looks good Kropotkin. As long as you have some pipettes and or syringes you should be good to go. If not, I bet Kevin would help you in that department if you contact him. He's good like that

I figured I'd buy all the syringes and beakers and stuff at one of those one-stop places; they seem to have everything. Can anybody recommend one with good prices?

And do I need big glass bottles for storage, or does nic/base come in glass already?

My e liquid making supplies are just syringes. I do store my nic in glass. I buy the bottles here Specialty Bottle - Glass Bottles, Glass & Plastic Jars, Tins, Vials Vapers Tek ships in plastic to avoid breakage.

And what do you all do about mixing up the nic and base? Do you do it all at once, into a single mammoth bottle, or do you mix it up in smaller batches, or what?

I'm trying to picture the scale on which I'll be working here so I can figure out the appropriate gear . . .

I do both. I usually make 100 ml bases. I make more than one kind of base though. I make tobacco bases. Different PG VG water ratios. Sweet bases. I basically copy Inawera's ratios and tastes with great results. I've noticed the chocolate flavors taste amazing at 45/45 pg vg 10% water. I'm just learning how to play with these bases with great results. It's lots of fun What you have now is a great starting setup. 70/26 3% water is a very good base that carries the flavoring nicely

I mix it as I go. I use EJuice me up juice calculator. Depending on what I'm making, my flavoring percentage changes and from time to time I change my PG/VG ratio.

Now I just to have hunt up some basic measuring gear, and maybe a cardboard box to put it all in.

This is turning into quite an adventure, I must say. But if it turns out to be even half as much fun as baking and canning - which I love - I'll be a very happy camper indeed.

Yeah the 120ml nicotine at 100mg will last you a good long time. At your 6mg/ml dose, that's roughly (60) 30ml bottles, or (40) 50ml bottles of e-liquid you can make.

Mmmmmm . . . I love baking bread (almost as much as I love cutting off a thick slab while it's still warm, and then slathering it with good Maine butter).



Maybe we should beg JimiD to create a Fresh Bread eliquid? Yum-O!
