Is this right for me? (Possibly unusual circumstances?)

This is what I'd suggest if you were in the US. Kanger Evod Starter Kit

I know nothing about UK vendors, but when I was in London, there were a lot of people with eGos (very similar batteries), so they must get them from somewhere.

If you can get one of these in your hands then I would definitely 2nd and 3rd this.

Wow... Cheers lady's and gents, I really wasn't expecting such a huge response so quickly!!

You've certainly given me some food for thought that's for sure! I really don't mind how it looks if I'm honest, however I agree vamo might be cutting to the chase a little quickly...

Looks like the e-roll gets the most votes at the minute, I take it you don't have to stick to the joyetech specific E-juice? And could use other brands?

I don't know if its fitting in per say, more I guess that the devil makes work for idle hands...

Cheers again!

Me either LOL and I ignored all those who recommended eroll to me. I mean a Vamo user buying a cigalike! But I am soooo happy with my erolls. They fill a niche in my vaping that Vamo didn't. I guess the same way I ignored anything disposable until I took the plunge and tried an Njoy one day. Wow! But I don't live at Fort Knox.

Cheers again!!!

I guess now Ive just got to decide on a flavor or two... I'm guessing its pretty much down to personal preference, but any recommendations?

Keep the shiny side up,

Dis

Try mbv juices. Great selection of flavors.

...and I don't trust myself not to lose my resolve on a night out and to start socially smoking again.

I think that's the important bit right there. If you feel that, it'd be better to be prepared. Even though you say you've not had a problem with cravings and such, they can sneak up on you. I started out smoking socially too. For some time actually. At some point I can't pin down, it turned into being "hooked".

I'd say try the 0 nic and see if that does it for you with the "ritual" and social aspects. If you can avoid the nicotine entirely, that's great. And since you say you've not had cravings, you probably can go without the nicotine.

Ideally, you don't do either. Though everybody here is pretty sure vaping is much safer than smoking (well, what isn't?), we don't really know what the long term effects of doing this stuff are. It's too new. There may be some questionable effects over the long haul. Won't know until we get there.

But we know what smoking does right? So I'd rather see you vape than smoke certainly...

You can add my "vote" to it. They're cool little widgets. :) The kind of thing I'd have if I'd been a light smoker instead of the big time nicotine fiend. :)

And you don't have to use any particular juice. You're free to find whatever you like. And there's just tons of juices out there to try. Plenty in 0 nic form. Hundreds if not thousands at that...

If you're not craving the nicotine, then I'd avoid adding it back in (unless you wanted to).

I was never a regular smoker (just socially) but chewed quite a bit. Since I can't vape all that often at work, getting maybe 15 puffs throughout the day, I opted for 24mg just to make it so I can take one puff and be good for a while. I think you'd prefer the 0 or maybe 6 mg.
