Is this safe to vape on?

i made this mod using a 510 atty, momentary switch, and a ac power supply.

ac power supply is rated @
input voltage 100-240v
output 5.2v@1.6a

Barring any bare wires (not visible) shorting out on the inside.
and (as always) you should use caution with nicotine content ,
and how much of it you inhale at high voltage.
Other than that I say Vape-on!

i soldered and heat shrinked all the wires.i am using 18mg juice

Your atty will only use what is needed for opperation.

This a thousand times, it needs to be stickied in big bold letters. Amperage ratings on a power source are a MAXIMUM rating (and theres some wiggle room), not the amount supplied. Amperage (current) is determined by how much voltage you are applying to your load, and how much resistance the load has. A 510 atomizer is ~2.5 ohms, applying 5.2v to it will draw 2.08A. Your 1.6A power source should provide that without too many issues, but it may die at some point as you're overdriving it by a bit.

Bonus round: What is the total wattage you're producing when applying 5.2V @ 2.08A to your atomizer?

is 2.08a equal to 2080Mah??? if so...are you saying that at 5volts...a 510 atty usb would draw over 2000Mah??? I thought i can use a USB straight PT (with no battery) ..plug it in a USB AC power supply rated at 1000Mah...

To put it simply you get a thumbs up from my point of view. Providing you didn't use any hazardous materials to construct it. The atomizer may run a little hotter then need be, but you should be fine. Output power is always approximate when dealing with wall-warts. Each power supply is designed slightly different based on the circuit it was originally intended for, thus your mileage will very. It also depends on many factors... such as the atomizer your using, the resistance wire will very based on this. Each resistance wire has different properties that will change depending on power input. Of course your main goal is to produce the most vapor with out over heating the atomizer.

mAh is a battery rating, it's not a 'real' unit. What 2000mAh means is that you can discharge that battery at 2000mA for 1 hour until it is depleted - the reason the chinese batteries are all over-rated is because they include the 0-2.2v discharge in that hour, despite the batteries having a safety cutoff at 2.2-2.5v (even unprotected ones).
You can get away with using a 1A wallwart because that what is was designed for, but can be overdriven. Over time theres a good chance that something inside of it will fry and it will no longer work, but wallwarts are cheap, so who cares?

On the units though, yes, 1000mA == 1A.

pico = 10^-12 (p)

We don't really deal with anything but the milli or unnamed unit for ecigs, with the noted exception of capacitors for some voltage regulators being in the microfarad range.
