So I just went to a local vape shop and had them rebuild my dropper atty for me. They suggested a 3 wrap dual coil build with 28 gauge, which ohm out to .3 I have a sony 30 amp battery, and it kicks and produces awesome vapor. But the atomizer gets kinda hot, after 15 solid hits I took the battery out and it was warm to the touch but was not hot by any means. This seemed to be their prefered build and it seems stable, but I just don't feel safe about this. I understand everything going into it including the amount of power it's drawing and it's within the limits of the battery.... I kinda wanna go back and have them do 4 or 5 wraps of 30 gauge dual coil instead which would sit at like .9 ohms. Any thoughts or suggestions? I really don't wanna run into battery problems or anything worse. For long term use is the goal. I understand .3 ohm builds can be safe but for how long before something goes wrong? Info: magneto mod , nimbus atomizer, sony 1600mah 30 amp battery.
