Is this samsung 25r batter fake or real?

I got this one off craigslist, dunno if its real or not because the ones I got from lightningvapes.com look different. I looked at a "real vs fake" guide but I wasn't able to really tell if its real or fake.. help appreciated.

Looks authentic to me, but its hard to tell from a pic.

But if you are concerned enough to start a thread about this, why did you buy from Craig's List?

Buy your batteries from reputable/trusted battery resellers like RTD Vapor, Illumn., IMR batteries, Lion batteries, and Orbtronics.

The number of circles in the top row of the 0 in 18650 is off by one, according to this guy. Is it a fake 18650 battery? (Featuring the Samsung 25R)

It appears to be a fake to me, I wouldn't use it.
Samsung's wrap is always very clearly printed & always use a specified number of dots on each letter / numeral.

To avoid getting fake / counterfeit or re wrapped lesser quality cells only buy batteries from known reputable sources.

I got scammed on ebay I thought I was buying an authentic Kanger Subox but when it arrived it was fake. He advertised the authentic samsung battery which I had suspected fake but it is now confirmed by stringplucker. So very hard to spot a fake these days, good job kudos to you man!

On the plus side I got to keep the money and the vape but off to the trash bin this battery goes, not looking to vape an explosive battery.

You may want to rethink your "saving money buy buying cheap" strategy. It doesn't appear to be working out well.
