You also have to realize one thing here, when that message that says shipping received means that USPS has been notified, that many vendors shortly after doing there pkg's will make a run to the USPS with 100-pkg's or more, they could sit in the post office for some time before they are actually scanned for acceptance. So if the vendor tells you they where shipped he very well could have dropped off 20-200 pkgs at the USPS and they just may not have been scanned in yet. Either way however if your pkg was lost at this very beginning stage I would seek a refund.

Edit; Also the stamps,com website seems to update differently at times then the USPS.com website, I would keep an eye on both of these websites for a couple of days and track your PKG to see if it shows up and has movement.

They don't sit for some time .. they are processed within a few hours at max ...

Uhm I said Some Time ( not all day ), but he hasnt given it that amount of Time from what times are posted Uncle Willie,, it can take up to ( SOME TIME ) =2-3 hrs sometimes if the front desk is extremely busy.

And the times are reversed which I havent ever seen before

I've seen the times reversed before lots of time. It is just a glitch in how the labeling software communicates with the post office. I'm sure each blames it on the other...
