To make like $8 per unit on ebay, they must be getting them for like $20 which I don't understand is possible. This is the same specs if not better than a $400 vitamix, the warranty just isn't as good. but you can buy 5 new machines to meet the price of 1 vitamix. I have the previous version and beat the crap out of it with frozen fruit for over a year and the motor runs like new, but rock hard frozen strawberries finally snapped the blade into the pitcher cracking it. The blades are stainless steel same as a Vitamix, possibly a lower quality, or just leaving it to dry standing up with water sitting around the blade has weakened it. It did give me a sort of warning though because the seal around the bearings popped out a couple weeks ago and it was leaking oil and sounding rough. I don't know, but a new vitamix blade is $25 and this whole blender is $50 or $90, and I don't know if vitamix warranty even covers blades and if it's easy to get as if I can just call them every few months saying the blade broke and send me another. I couldn't get just the blade for the blender I have now.
Anyway, I'm not sure of this site. They don't take paypal, so if I do give them my credit card, I'd still be protected but don't want to spend a day on the phone with my credit card to get a new card and everything.
And if you check like here, they have $300+ blendtec blenders for like $50 shipped?
