I never expected a forum about e-cigs to be this active... or with so many cool people.
It's a blend of good people with the sincere desire to quit smoking which bonds the community,
Coupled with the excitement and variety of the vapor world.

Iv'e been online since 98 and been part of forums but always lost interest but gotta admit,
I am SO impressed with the people here

Hell with facebook, this place is where you learn and make friends

I'm more active on this forum than anywhere else on the internet, just because everyone is so helpful and fun. I try to put back into the community what I learned, and help others as I was once helped. karma and all.

I agree completely with all the above posts. Best forum I have ever been a part of. I get a kick when I see some that do not like the restrictions here and talk about some of the other PV related sites. I have seen them and they are a joke. ECF has the right setup and do it right!

Not sure my wife and I could have made it nearly 2 years without cigarettes if we hadn't had the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly people on this forum. Bless you all for the good you do!

Yup.

People here seem genuinely interested in helping one another, both in terms of dumping annys, as well as sharing as much knowledge as possible. I think part of it is that this is such a new technology, too, with great benefits to us all. Makes it all new, exciting, fun, and there's the element of compassion as we taste the freedom from the smokes in ourselves, and one another.

I think, from a technical standpoint, I've learned more on this site in the few weeks I've been haunting it, than you could probably get out of a full year's college course on the subject-- the site is fairly well laid out, and rich with resources, and knowledgeable people.

Total win!

i am a member of probably 50+ forums, and this one is about the friendliest one I have been on. So far the newbie questions are still getting answered, instead of the normal "DID YOU READ the FAQ's??" or the all too common "LET ME GOOGLE THAT FOR YOU"

Sometimes egos can get the better of a few, but ECF is like an extended family. And for the overwhelming majority of us here, our desire to help, learn and teach out weighs our basic human pettiness. I'm rather proud of this Family we have here. I know for a fact that without my brothers and sisters on this forum I would still be a slave to analogs. I owe it to them to help keep this a wonderful place to live.

I agree totally. I did not know a soul that used E-cigs and seen a add in a magazine, then looked on the internet with google and found the ECF forum. Thank goodness I found it otherwise I would not know about different models or what a cart or cartomizer was or how to clean and refill, or that you could buy juice and refill it yourself. VERY helpful and I am still learning after 5 Months.
