Hi everyone. I've been vaping for about 4 months now. I started out trying to just get rid of smoking and that worked pretty good. Havent smoked since I received my original ego-c kit. I was the only person vaping which brought many questions.

I started to buy some DIY supplies to try and make better ejuice than what I could find locally or even the couple that I ordered online not to mention bringing my juice cost wayy down. DIY proved to have some challenges in the beginning as one might expect. But now things are going really smooth and the recipes are flowing with much help from the DIY posts in the forums.

Since I started vaping, many people have become interested. I have helped approximately 20 people to start vaping and kick the analogs with more people interested all the time. Pretty good feeling.

So anyway there is alot more to the story but I just wated to introduce myself and say THANK YOU to the community for all the information shared as it has been an invaluable resource in my vaping journey.

Congrats on quitting smoking and welcome to the Forum. DIY is always a challenge, a lot of trial and error, patience and perseverance. Eventually, works out as you mentioned. Great job on helping others quit via vaping too. You are setting a good example apparently. Good for you! Welcome to the Forum. Enjoy the Journey.

Hello Welcome. I have been vaping awhile and I don't like my own DIY. I am not a good cook, so it seems.

I dont think I'm a good cook either. I started DIY by looking at all the flavors available thru different suppliers then checking out the reviews here of the flavors that interested me. That way I knew I was getting the best flavorsfor me from the best suppliers. I found some recipes and had it all ready before I even received my order. I think that helped get me off to a good start. Trial and error with small 3-5ml batches has been the key for me.

I am currently vaping my first run of the Flamingo recipe found here in the TPA recipe forum. I love it but has just a touch too much coconut for me. So the next batch I back off by a little. The best thing I have learned is not what tastes the best but how the different flavors are reacting together. The Peach was dominant at first but now a day later the coconut is.

Keep at it. I would be happy to help from a noob perspective.

Thanks everyone for the welcome

Welcome to the forum. I have learned so much here that has made my transition to vaping successful. This is the 2nd time vaping for me. The first time I tried vaping I didn't look at the forums and solely relied on my B&M. While the B&M was helpful, I had quite a few issues with tanks, carts, you name it. When I ended up losing my mod, I went back to smoking. It was just easier.

This time around I still go to my B&M, but started reading the forums. Initially, I just lurked as a guest for several months. I finally created a profile, so I could post. Hopefully some of my posts will help other new vapors.

I had developed a smokers cough which I hated. In the last 6 weeks it's almost gone, and my lungs are starting to feel better.

In other words, you saved not only your life, but 20 others.

That is the beauty of my fellow vapers. Helpful, encouraging, sharing!!!

And like Bill's Magic Vapor put so well (which I cannot improve),
"Good for you! Welcome to the Forum. Enjoy the Journey. "

Yea, that!!!
