Yes! John Bonham and his sidemen were phenomenal! The first and original hard rockers!
We all have our opinions as to "BEST" but if Bonham would not have died, I think that they would have been as enduring as the Beatles.
I'm a fan of Zeppelin, along with hundreds of other groups/musicians. "The greatest rock band of all time"? That's a subjective call and I can't answer. I was once asked, by a person who clearly considered himself to be uber knowledgeable on popular music, what my favorite group was. My answer was that I couldn't single out a favorite, and that I had hundreds of favorites. His response: That I obviously didn't know anything about music. ??????

One could even argue whether or not CODA is a "proper" Zeppelin album. Posthumously compiled from outtakes. Errr. It's definitely in a different class.
Very true, I bought it and got rid of it, that's how much I hated it.
I thought thought that the album was an insult to Zeppelin!
I voted no, but only because I don't feel that there is an objective way to determine a "greatest" band. Every band has good songs and bad songs, each band just has more of one or the other.
Plus, music is abstract art and, as such, claims of greatness are entirely subjective.

I agree and I am just having fun with the thread. Although when it comes to saying Rock band I do think that Led Zep could go down in history as the greatest Rock band. The beatles the greatest pop rock band, etc.
They really worked for me as a straight up Rock band. I would never call them metal, like Black Sabbath my favorite early metal band. You know what I mean.
There are so many great bands that it is really hard to say who is the best.
