Is this the right VG?

What had me concerned was that it's 99.5% instead of 100%. I'm a total noob so I didn't want to take any unnecessary chances.

Looking forward to mixing my own flavors.

You might find 99.7% at a different store.. not sure, but never 100%

Every time you open the bottle it will absorb moisture from the air and the % will go down. VG is a desiccant.

Glycerin USP must be at least 99.5% glycerin to be USP. In order to assure that Glycerin USP meets this specification, producers like Humco actually produce 99.7% glycerin. This gives them a little margin for error during production. I have seen documentation from Humco that confirms that their Glycerin is actually 99.7%.

Virtually any bottle of Glycerin USP that you can find in a US drug store is made by Humco. The CVS Glycerin USP or Walmart Glycerin USP is the same product: Humco.

The missing percentage for Glycerin USP is water.

Factory sealed bottles from Humco have a very long shelf life. My newest bottles are expiration dated 11/2017.
