Help with VG only mix please

I've been mixing flavours for a while so I am kind of experienced

Due to the thickness of VG I understand it wouldn't wick on it's own so I bought some distilled water

But I'm not sure how much distilled water to add...Do I just replace what I'd be using as PG?

For example, for a 70% vg mix, is this right?

10ml bottle:

10% VG flavouring (1ml)
10% VG nic (1ml)
50% VG (5ml)
30% distilled water (3ml)


What are peoples ideal amounts of distilled water?

65% VG I use 4%

80% or greater 8 - 12%

Just experiment and find a percent that allows the VG to wick properly in your device and your done.

zak, IMO you're using too much DW. For an all vg juice, I usually go not above 15% DW. Otherwise your juice will not last that long due to excess evaporation.

If you're using VG flavoring I think you'll find using 20 percent distilled water just about right.

Have you noticed any difference in your consumption rate between 15% and 20% ? I go through my juices real fast at 20% DW.
