Is this weird or dangerous?

I just Built a vertical quad coil in my W3 using 28g 6 wraps on 3/32 and it came out to .25 Using sony vtc4's and when I fired it, it works like a charm no complaints.

Now when I let off the button and set it down it's still like.. smoking... and continues to do so for at least a minute. Not as if im firing it but just like a little lingering off the top... Should I be worried?

What you're seeing is leftover heat dissipating. .25 quads is a lot of heat, and 28 gauge wire has some mass so it holds it pretty well

Naw i've done some hot builds before, It just seems like this is the first time I've noticed it haha. This is my 3rd quad build the first were horizontal but they didn't seem to do that before.

Lmao my 1.2 ohm single coil in my Igo-W does the exact same. It's residual heat (like above me said). That being said, my Igo produces a lot leftover lmao I can't even imagine the amount of vapor that's pouring out of there. Probably enough for another pull

No seriously haha. I've only been doing sub ohm builds I only do higher on my kayfun lite+ This just seems to be the first time it's happened. Or maybe I haven't noticed haha Either way I was kinda freaked by it haha.

Yup as mentioned above the coils are still hot enough to produce vapor and will continue to do so till they cool down. Mine does this as well.
