My main question here is to ask if the Vivi Nova is;
A) a specific type of rba (rba=Re-Buildable Atomizer)style from one company.
B) a generic type, with variations from many companies.

At the moment, B seems to be the actual situation. And now this brings up a 2nd question. What brand is compatible with what other brand?

Thanks,
Joe Dunfee

P.S. I am not a novice at this, but really have been finding this stuff confusing. A couple of things seem to be at the forefront of the confusion.

1st, there is a bewildering array of atomizer/"drip-o-mizers"?/cartomizer/clearomizer/"clear cartomizers" variations.

2nd, the listings of the various options are swollen by the fact that a single style may fill pages with all the various color and resistance sub-variations. I wish these sub-variations would simply be options on a single page.

More like A&B. Vision (manufacturer) came out with the Vivi Nova "tank" awhile back, and like any other popular item, other Chinese manufacturers copied it and some kept the name (Vivi Nova), some didn't. Some are actual knock-offs out there that claim to be Vision, but aren't; you just have to be sure you trust your retailer to be honest. Eric carries the Vision Vivi Nova, but he also commissioned a generic "DV" version, and sells both.

They are not RBA's, though some have had success at rebuilding the heads themselves, versus buying the pre-made head replacements (videos on YouTube show how to do this). For me, it's too much trouble, so I just buy the replacement heads as they're typically relatively cheap to buy. I only rebuild the wick/wire on my Dream Tank, which is a rebuildable.

Hope this helps! :)
