Ismoka Bcc Mega Tank worked great and now burnt taste, what happened?

I have searched the forums looking for my particular issue and couldn't find it so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before but I feel like the problem I'm having is a peculiar one. This isn't a post about how did I burn my wick, or how to clean my tank, I'm having a weird problem and I would like to know if others have experienced this and how I can fix it. I bought my iSmoka bcc mega tank a few weeks ago, I put it on my Kamryx6 variable voltage battery and it was wonderful. So nice and clean delicious hits. When I felt the taste went away with a coil, I changed it out, plugged it back in and still had some wonderful vapes. I changed coils about 3 times and every time it worked like a charm. No burnt taste, delicious juice, wonderful clouds. My coil was in need of a replacement yesterday so I bought some, 1.8 ohms, it was what I was using before. Brand new coil, dumped in juice, let it sit to get nice and saturated and have been plagued with the burnt taste and hardly tasting the juice. I thought it was a bad coil, changed it, same thing happened with the new one. I'm on my 4th coil and I can't seem to not get a burnt taste! It was working so wonderful before and now it seems what ever coil I put in I hardly get that delicious taste and I'm plagued with it tasting burnt. Is there something i should be doing? All of these coils were brand new and I always let them sit and i dry hit them to get them nice and wet before vaping. I havent changed the type of juice I was using when it was working so well, so I'm a loss for words. Any suggestions? I want to taste the wonderful juice again and I love my ismoka tank. Please help, I have googled so much and nothing. Thanks!

I'm hoping you meant un-powered hit to prime, and not dry hit...

Have you checked the resistance of the new coils? Sometimes (often??) they're not as marked.

Are you getting a good, solid connection to the battery? A marginal connection can make the electronics "think" the resistance isn't what it actually is, and cause a much higher than expected voltage to be applied. Sometimes the new coils aren't quite as long at the positive pin, or the grommet has been compressed some, shortening the length. With the head out of the base, you can try "pinching" the pin out of the grommet a little bit.
