I just stumbled across this nicely priced kit at a site called vape Dojo and I was wondering if anyone's ever used the device. It's the iSmoka iKit (and iSmoka mini BCC)... a 650mah automatic battery, 1.5ml clearomizer, charger and drip tip for $14.99. Link: Katana Kit II/iSmoka iKit

Per the info on the manufacturer's website:

Low-voltage Protection: When the voltage of battery is below 3.1V, the LED light will successionally blink
ten times to stop outputting.
Overcharge Protection: When fully charged to 4.2V, it will cut off the charging circuit automatically.

So if I'm reading that correctly, it's unregulated, and will slowly drop from 4.2 volts down as the battery depletes (which is like the KGO, I think?).

Has anyone ever used iSmoka products? Are they crap or is this a sweet deal? Either way, I just wanted to post this here in case it interests anyone.

Fun fact: some other websites say this clearo is the same product as the VapeOnly mini BCC, which sells for $12 on its own.

I can comment on the iSmoka mini BCC....

I have a mini vivi nova, T2, Evod and the iSmoka mini BCC 1.6ml (about 2 weeks in for all 4)

The iSmoka gives me the best Vapes/Flavor hands down. It looks and feels great, no leaking thus far. I will be getting more.
However, it seems to burn through juice much quicker than the others and also seems to collect condensation more on the tank. (Feels a little wet, but its condensation and not leaking juice).

You can also change the drip tip if you dont like the flat one it comes with. (push pull style). However, I like the flat tip.

I cant comment on the battery as I dont have one. I use a VisionSpinnerVV.

Thanks my 2cents

iSmoka mini BCC 2.2ohm head on eGO Twist Battery anywhere between 3.4-3.6V kicks a ton of vapor, flavor is good, not ProTank good but damn near close. It kicks out a ton of vapor, more than my ProTank. The 1.8ohm head was too hot for me even as low as 3.2-3.4v and my juice (GoodLifeVapor) tasted burnt after 2-3 drags. Haven't tried the 2.5ohm head but I know I like my ohms between 2-2.4ohms. I bet the 2.5 will be good but I think the 2.2 will be my sweet spot. For whatever reason this clearo burns through more juice than anything else I have, probably attributes to the big vapor but I can go through an ML much faster with this unit. It's like driving a fast SUV, you hit the throttle and watch the gas meter go down, big performance and big thirst. I like it a lot, bought a few from SmokTek and will continue to use it. I'll probably use my better value juices with it considering the consumption.

sweet

I just discovered that the little holes at the bottom of the Evod tank can be manipulated for different tastes.

If you cover 1 or 2 of the holes, you will get a less airy hit.

Kinda cool

cheers

You can permanently cover one or both holes if you want a tighter (less airy) draw by inserting a toothpick into the hole and breaking off the end so that it's wedged into the hole and thus covers air from getting through.
