Protank/ iClear30 / iSmoka Mini / Evod.

Just been on a shopping spree and picked up the following :

1). Kanger Protank
2). innokin iClear30 DCT
3). ismoka Mini BCC (vapeonly)
4). Kanger EVOD BC Clearo

I've been using mainly vivi novas for a while now, but still looking for the "holy grail" of delivery systems, so I thought I'd give these a try. So far, I've only tried the EVOD. But I'm quite impressed, it seems to compare pretty well with the nova. For me the flavour is better on the EVOD, but I seem to get more vapour from the nova.

My plan is to use the nova, EVOD or mini BCC when out and about. The Protank and iClear30 can join my Vmod and aga t2 for home use.

My collection is expanding

Anyone have any preference on these delivery devices ???

After using LR cartos for the most part of 5 years, I am currently trying the Evod BCC and iSmoka mini BCC. They are close. I think I like the flavor production of the Evod a little better than the iSmoka, but the Evod's mouthpiece, although comfortable, is permanent. The iSmoka, however, is able to switch out its mouth piece for a regular drip tip (if it's still new enough to fit tightly). I like my pretty drip tips and they also color code my flavors. I've been using regular size, 2.0 ohm, single coil, SmokTech cartos and they seem to produce a bit stronger flavor. These new clearos show they are definitely making progress - when I first tried this type of clearo, the flavor was really muted. I like eGo batteries and eGo passthroughs. The 1.8 ohm Evod seems comparable to the 2.2 ohm iSmoka for some reason. I like the idea of these types of clearos - I think because they are small, I still get a fairly warm vape and I don't need to worry about getting any weird tasting poly-fill. Usually I can't taste the poly-fill with the SmokTechs, but once in a while I get a few bad-tasting ones.

Thanks for the input Janet, it's always good to get other opinions over new kit.
I'm trying to use all the systems with the same juice (DIY banana cream). I've put them on my VV ego set at 4.0 volts for comparison - I found this gives me the best vapour, flavour and th when using a nova with this juice.
The Evod seems to be giving out slightly more vapour today and the flavour is still as good. Do you get a lot of condensation in the Evod drip tip ? I've found this happens for me, not really a problem - doesn't mute the flavour at all.

Tried the Protank last night, looks great on the VV battery. The shape reminds me of a designer sky-scraper but it is a bit top heavy. Not too sure about the Protank yet, does give a better th and comparable vapour and flavour. Plus I like the fact that the metal drip tip doesn't taint the flavour (found this happened in the past with metal drip tips on DCT tanks). The drip tip also seems to cool the vape which I like, don't like a hot vape. But I don't know wether the Protank is worth all the extra money though.

May try the iSmoka today, I generally use 1.8 - 2.5 ohm attys (even when I rebuild them for my novas), so I think I'll leave the standard atty in the iSmoka at first.

I've not tried the iClear16. Just wondering if there's any particular reason you prefer them - th, vapour etc.

I'm always open to new suggestions, so any extra info would be great

I'll probably pick one up next time I order, unfortunately I've blown my vape budget already this month

Well I don't like the Novas but a lot of others do.

So here's my update after a few days use with each system:

Protank - Flavour 9/10, TH 7/10, Nic hit 9/10, Vapour 8/10.
Gives great flavour with a good size tank, cool vape (which I like). Easy to hit the battery cut off and I get a great nic hit.

Evod - Flavour 8/10, TH 8/10, Nic hit 7/10, Vapour 7/10.
Great flavour but needs filling a little more, warmer vape. Compares well to my nova tanks. Condensation does build up in drip tip though.

iClear30 - Flavour 9/10, TH 9/10, Nic hit 7/10, Vapour 8/10.
Great flavour with a big tank, hot vape and loads of vapour. But the drip tip for me takes a bit of getting used to.

iSmoka mini - Flavour 7/10, TH 8/10, Nic hit 7/10 Vapour 7/10.
For the price a reasonable vape, but unfortunately for me just a back up now.

So overall, I would say the Protank is my favourite. I like loads of flavour, plenty of vapour but a cooler vape with a reasonable TH and nic hit. However, I've just re-wicked a nova with cotton balls and this just beats the Protank in all areas.

These views are just my own, I'm not trying to put down anybody's opinion, just find the best delivery system for me
