I tried some tobacco flavored e-juices a long time ago and disliked them because they all tasted like nuts (peanuts if I remember correctly). I'm getting into DIY flavors after vaping flavorless for years and thought to try making my own tobacco flavored juice if I can find some tobacco flavors without that nutty taste. Just straight, mild-ish, moist tobacco without any fruit or spice components. Mildly sweet is ok, but not caramel-ish. Is this a tall order?

Thanks!

If you want premixed tobacco's then I'd go with BlackNote, but they're pricey. I've also liked Real Tobacco Extracts and Naturally Extracted Tobacco. BlackNote has simpler tobaccos. The latter two have a wide range of flavors. All are great.
If you want to mix tobacco flavors with your own nic, then I'd go with StixxMixx. Really good flavors to mix with and the website has loads of recipes.
Those are all real naturally extracted tobaccos.

Yeahhh besides net juices all the other "tobacco" flavours never felt like tobacco to me and wonder why they call them like that :D

Net is what u need for sure...
I have only tried black notes but I guess any net will be good as long as it's a tobacco type u like....
Black notes are a little pricey but they are very strong and can be diluted a lot more than the 5% recommended by manufacturer cause in my opinion they are very strong...

Go for NET :headbang:

I have nic base. Just need the flavors. I know nothing about NETs, but maybe it's time to learn. I will look into StixxMixx for starters. Thank you both.

Net stands for naturally extracted tobacco, and is just flavoring extracted from tobacco leaves.

You can purchase it, or you can cut out the middle man and make it yourself. It's a learning process for sure.

Since your in the United States, learning to make your own isn't a bad idea... God only knows whether the government will try taxing NET flavoring the same as e-juice in the future.

Virginia's not too bad, 6.6 cents per ml, but it adds up...

I began extracting my own NET flavors about four years ago. I cannot recreate any vendor E-Liquid, but I have developed a dozen or more that I truly enjoy.

Thoughts on Beginning to Extract Tobacco Flavors

This is just one thread of a sub-forum here on the ECF dedicated to extracting tobacco flavors.
Briefly : Virginia tobacco has natural sugars and is sweet. Burley is grown to be without natural sugars and can taste nutty. Turkish is generally a mild tobacco used in many cigarettes. Cavendish is a process that sweetens a mild tobacco. Perique is grown and processed to make a spicy leaf that is probably too strong to smoke or vape by itself, and is added to a mixture. Same for Latakia.
Read up on the Liquid Extraction of Tobacco sub-forum.
