I've been vaping on my ipv mini 2 for the past 3 months with no issues. Starting about a few days ago, I keep getting "check battery" on the display even though the battery level is full (I normally have the mod set at .6 ohm and 17.5 watts). It doesn't happen all the time. For example, I would put in a freshly charged battery and vape for 2-3 times, then afterwards I get the message. I then wait for a few seconds and can vape again. But then sometimes I am able to vape for longer periods until I get the message. Is the issue with the mod or batteries?

Here are my 2 batteries that I am using:
AW IMR 18650 Li-MN
Samsung ICR 18650-26FU

BTW the batteries are pretty old. The Sammy is about 2 yrs old and AW about 1 yr.

Weird question, but did you check the endcap? Make sure it's not dirty or dusty? Maybe you're getting intermittent contact? (Check the inside of the tube as well - if you can get a long q-tip to the positive contact?)

Have you checked your batteries with a DMM? Just some thoughts.....

This would be my advice too. Give the contacts of both the IPV and the batteries a good clean with alcohol. While you are there, examine the contacts in your device to make sure there is no pitting, oxidization or any discoloration.

If you are still getting the issue after cleaning, I would suggest trying a new battery. If you don't want to spend the $7 for one without knowing, ask a friend or head to your local vape shop to see if they will let you test with one of theirs. Obviously they'll want you to buy it from them too ;)
