Hey guys, I recently acquired a 5ml vpx tank from a friend at a local vape meet and he gave me a few ressurectors (some slotted, some punched) and so far since using this tank since the 11th of this month I have been running into a consistent issue. I have been leaving the carto in the tank, refilling as needed, each night the carto sits in the juice remaining. After 2 or so days of refilling and simply sitting in a tank of liquid over night it starts to flood like a .... sending juice up the drip tip and then out the bottom. Trying to blow out the carto doesn't help it just keeps flooding and juice gets wasted......at that point I have been forced to change out the carto.

I've gone through 3 cartos so far, on the 4th as of 2 hours ago, and the cycle seems to repeat itself every 2-3 days. What am I doing wrong? Should I be emptying the tank every night? The draw becomes too tight and ends up drawing in more liquid, causing floodage. Is the juice too loose? (sorry had to lol) should I be using thicker juices like 100% vg?

I am getting frustrated as I'll be out of cartos before I can order some more (still trying to find a good deal on SS resurrectors that i'll punch myself) Crystal clear never has the 15 pack in SS lol.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. anyone else finding this issue?

I am on day three with a resurrector in a liquinator and have not had that happen yet. I have a 3ml liquinator and decided to slot it right next to the coil instead of further down, since I have the 3ml I still have room to move the tank up and vape all of the liquid in the tank but the setup is far from ideal. On the other hand, I have not had as much success with the liquinator as I have had doing it this way. Since the slot is right next to the coil it really chugs through the juice. Oh just so you know, since this is not a review you may want to post in a different thread next time. Also, I do not know if the tank you have allows you to cover the slot but that may help if you can partially cover the hole as it starts to flood. Also curious as to what juice you are using along with pg vg ratio.

You can buy the black ones. All you need to do is peal the sticker off and then you have a stainless carto.

I don't have a VPX but have a DCT map tank. I punch 1 hole in my cartos. I fill the tank to about 3/4 full and if the carto starts to flood I angle it while vaping it so the juice is not over the hole which would make it flood worse. If you tighten the carto tightly into your device it will force the air to go through the vent holes which will draw more juice in. If the carto is near flood stage you can loosen the carto some so that some air will be allowed to enter the hole in the center of the end of the carto.

The juice I was using was "robacco" from bluemist. It is a 80pg/20vg mix. I am currently using a DIY from a friend thats 100% vg with 10% distilled water to thin it out some. So far the 100vg juice seems to be performing much better, and there are two holes on this carto.
