Hello all. Brand new here but I am having some issues with my setup and this seemed like the site to go to. I have several cylinder style batteries, and recently upgraded to a MVP2 rig. When I bought it I was told that my MT3 tanks would work on it. However, I am having problems. The iclear30 tanks that came with it works fine, other than being rather leaky. But when I put my MT3 tanks on, some of them work fine, some don't. I'm at a loss. When I put the same tank that won't work on the MVP on my vision spinner it works fine. Any suggestions? Many thanks for any responses.

Hmm, I've not used MT3 tanks but I can say the iclear30 is mediocre and I really dont use it. My MVP2 works with all my tanks. Protank 2, protank 3, Vision Xjets and my new personal favorite the aspire nautilus. What voltage or wattage are you vaping with on your MVP2? And what do you mean exactly by some work and some don't?

I don't have mine yet, but heard that this is a common problem and easy fix my sanding down the outside ring or lifting up on the center pin with tweezers.

^^^^^ That's what you need to do. Lift that center pin up a fraction. To avoid future problems don't screw your clearos on tight.

I've had the same issues with my version 1 MVP. Some tanks work, others don't. The issue is the design of the beauty ring being too deep and the center pin in the MVP being too loose allowing some tank's connectors to push it too far into the MVP. The above video link shows how to "tease" the MVP's center pin up higher to make the proper electrical connection.

I find that I have to adjust my MVP's pin up at least once a week.

Will do. Admittedly, I don't care for the i30 and would rather use the many MT3 tanks I have anyway since I like the ease of transport for them. I wonder if the i30 being screwed in too tight from the start caused the problem. We put it on at the store and I think the gent really cranked it down since it felt tight the first time I took it off.

That makes sense. I will try that. I'm still curious how one would go about sanding down the base of the MT3 tanks
No, they were talking about sanding the end of the beauty ring/adaptor that comes with the MVP.

What types of tanks do you like to use, out of curiosity? I haven't branched out much. Just used the tanks that came with the Kanger Evod and then the bigger MT3s until the iclear30 that that came with the MVP.
