Issues with my Chi Megan...

I just picked up an authentic Chi You Megan a few days ago, I am having some issues right off the bat with it.

I have tried many different builds, mainly on my tobh v2.5, most of them around .3 ohms. Whenever I fire it, the button gets very hot. Also, when I press the button, the device seems to fire half-.....ed for a couple seconds, and then it fires hard, then weaker, then stronger. All while I am pressing the button with the same force. It worries me and frankly, is annoying for a 250$ mod.

The battery does not get warm every time I use it, it does on occasion. Never hot though.

I am using MNKE 26650's, and the upgraded contact pins without the spring.

What am I missing? Is there anything I can do to fix this so that it hits normally? New batteries, change to magnets in the switch, build a 3.5 ohm coil and drip 36mg? Help would be much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the button set up on that particular mod but definitely sounds button related. It is not making good contact and causing it to heat up and inconsistantly conduct. I would look at the button. Wish I could be more helpful.

1. Check and clean button. It's getting warm because of resistance building up somewhere.
2. Be sure atty and center pin are making good contact. A loose contact will give you a frustratingly intermittent vape.
