so i have a copper vanilla mod. the past week or so my firing button just will not stop backing out on me. every ten minutes i have to take the switch off and tighten down the contact again. i figured it might be because the threads are gunky as i have not polished or cleaned this mod in a while. so yesterday on my day off from work i sat down at my desk and did a very very thorough cleaning of every part of the switch as well as all the contacts. i put everything back together, popped in a fresh battery and!....it won't fire. i sat there for half an hour trying to get it to fire. the only way i can get it to fire is to back out the switch purposely and then press really hard. but this causes the firing button to literally fall out after 5-10 minutes of use. and even when i CAN get it to fire it seems weak and not as hard hitting (i have a .12 dual coil build so it normally vapes like a train). i figured maybe i left behind some polish or something in some of the tighter spots so i took all my contacts and my switch, repolished it and am now letting them soak in hot water. any other suggestions?

Remove the switch
Tighten the center pin/screw/contact as tight as possible - NO Loctite/etc.!!!!
Holding the Switch, check Switch throw by pressing the button
Note Contact position!!!

Is Center Contact reaching past Delrin spacer? It always should.

Next check that you have the Top Cap BATTERY Side Screw Adjusted properly. The CENTER most Screw.
Yes, that Center top contact is 2 adjusters in one.

It sounds to me like you are Lifting the Battery to make top contact when pressing the switch:D

That sounds like a scenario that could cause a hot button/switch. Don't ask me how I would know this   (I was a noob once, and still am, in many areas. Though that was really noob-ish of me. haha)
