issues with protank 3 coils

Hey all,
First Post, finally decided to sign up instead of lurking. i have been vaping for around 3 months.

Setup:
itaste vv v3.0
kangertech protank2 and unitank

I recently bought the protank3 with the new dual coil. The problem is the new coils thread in to the base fine but the battery says no coil (non). I have tried multiple coils with the same result. the old style pt2/uni/evdo coils work fine but they dont seal in the pt3. Is there a solution or adjustment i can make to get it working? Anyone else have this problem?

Unfortunately the pt2 coils don't work in the 3 tank. Hope you get it to work.

I thought they did? Should be the same except for the longer stem/tube and dual coils. The bottom collar is exactly the same size.

As far as the "NON" issue, try wiping off the contact and the bottom of the atty. I have gotten rid of this issue by doing this.

Id check and see if the coil head is screwed in tightly. The super short stem is hard to tighten as the silicone cap thwarts a good grip. Get a napkin take off the cap n tighten down the coil head. That should help... assuming its leaking from the very bottom center... if leaking from the tank seals then you may need to tighten down the base a bit (be careful not to overtighten as it may crack the tank!) Perhaps there is a missing gasket pressure sealing the tank? Check to see...
