A lot of these sub ohm tanks vape very similar. The Atlantis isn't bad I still prefer the subtank mini for more juice capacity than the nano and it comes with the rebuildable section which is what I like to use it for anyway. Either way if you're not going to rebuild and use the coils it comes with, both are good options. Although you have to use the drip tip the Atlantis comes with you cannot use your own

Actually there is a drip tip adaptor for the atlantis v2 that allows you to use any drip tip. I believe they are 10 bucks.

Hi all,
While at a local vape shop, I was looking to pick up a Kanger Nano but they were out of stock. The guy behind the counter suggested the Atlantis V2 (using the .5 coil).
I just wanted some input on that combo.

Thanks

Get the atlantis 2. You will not be disappointed, but depending on how warm you like your vape those .5 coils like 30+ watts. As far as all the sub ohm tanks go, the atlantis 2 outshines them all as far as flavor and vapor production

Thanks Justin. What wattage would you recommend setting the iStick 30 to?
I thought the iStick 30 wouldn't be powerful enough but the sales person said it was.

No problem man. Yes your istick 30W will work with it just fine. Technically they say the coils are rated for up to 30W, but in my experience those coils fire much better around 35-40W and it still produces a nice vape. Never had a burnt or dry hit and I've ran mine up to 50W just to see.(did start getting burnt taste as 50w on long pulls) It's still a decent vape at 30W though

I agree with you here. The new Atlantis .5 ohm coils can handle higher wattage than the old coils could. My old Atlantis .5 coils would top out around 28w and I would start to get a burnt taste as where the new .5 coils I run around 35w with no problems.
That, and the fact that the Atlantis 2 comes with a .3ohm coil rated at 70-80w would require a stronger mod to power the stock .3 ohm coil. But you could always use the old .5 ohm coils if you are set on the iStick 30w.

eleaf istick 50 watt would be a better regulated box mod than the 30 watt, sub ohm requires a decent amount of power...course the 30 watt version will work but to get a much better vape, 35-40 watts will be a sweeter spot...just a thought
Thanks Edward, I figured that. I just picked up the 50 watt 20 minutes ago lol.

Just fyi... if you don't dig the drip tip on the V2 (I personally can't stand it), I've found that you can use the Atlantis V1 5ml upgrade tank on the V2 base... works beautifully and works with any 510 drip tip... just be advised that the tank upgrade doesn't come with a tip, so you'll need to furnish your own since the V2 tip is about seventeen feet too large. The aftermarket 7ml upgrade works great, too.

I don't even how to start this, but I will give it my best shot,I am an old SOB,72
this year,I have smoked over 2 packs a day since I was 12 years old,most of the time ,Camel non filters,yes I am/was addicted--nicotine.
I drink,beer ,whiskey,and I am/was a biker,not that it makes a difference,just to give you a picture.
One day,a stranger come into the bar,I was smoking,he begins to tell me the faults of smoking,as time goes on ,I find he is not much younger then me,in his hand is a box type thing,I had no idea what the hell it was.Try this ,he said,I
did,I coughed, hacked, had sh** coming out of my nose, what the hell is this ?
I said,he said,you want to live to see 80,or 90,check it out.
Later on I did,he was right, maybe not about the 80 /90 thing ,but the smoking,
he was dead on.
After checking all out that I'm capable of,I got me,two,ZigZag vape pens.
from that day on I knew I would not touch another tobacco product.
It took me no more then one day to know, all my life I have destroyed my lungs, maybe it to late to save what is lost, but ,I feel it
is not to late to enjoy what it was I enjoyed, not the cigarette, the nicotine.
So here I am and i still have a problem,All this stuff on the market, there is
no one that can tell me,What TANK to buy that will not LEAK,I am not into subs,I have,Istick 30,please don't praise Aspire Nautilus Mini, been there done that.

Give the Eleaf GS Air M or GS Air MS a shot. I've had really good luck with these, the airflow can be adjusted to your preference, flavor is great, and they're ten bucks. Worth a shot, anyhow.

Get the GS Air MS here: Eleaf GS Air MS

Get the GS Air M here: Eleaf GS Air M - New

The two are identical except for height and capcity. The MS is about 55mm tall and has 2.5 ml capacity, the M is about 65 mm tall and holds about 4 ml. Being as you have the istick 30, a mid height mod, I'd personally go with the M for the extra capacity since that extra 10 or 11 mm height doesn't really make a difference at this point. Rinse the tank in hot water with a couple of drops of Dawn dish soap, then hot rinse again... I don't trust any factories to not leave machine oil. Try it out. If it works out, order the GS Air coils from the same site here: Eleaf GS Air Coils - Eleaf Coils - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks
