istick 30 or 50? not lookin to rebuild..

So I've heard that unless u rebuild ur coils, u will start to lose taste past 30w or so. Been considering the istick 50 as my next apv for awhile now but wondering if I really need the extra watts to achieve big clouds without rebuilding..any opinions? Also tank upgrade im deciding between the isub, melo, or st mini as I'm pretty tight on money. Any and all suggestion s would be extremely helpful and appreciated! Thanx in advance fellow vape squaders..

I use an iStick 30 my self, it produces more than enough power for me. As far as clouds, I've found I need to crack my car windows sometimes, like back when I was smoking. I usually run a coil in the 1.5Ω to 2.2Ω range at about 9 or 10 watts, get good flavor and vapor.

I've also tried the Sub-tank Mini by Kranger and would recommend it as a good quality, non-leaking, easy to use & clean topper. I haven't tried the other toppers you mentioned so can't help you there. Nice thing about the ST mini is it can use pre-built factory coils but also comes with an insert you can use to build your own coils if your curiosity get to you.

I do build my own coils, and would recommend you try it sometime. It's fairly easy, and you can adjust the coil for your own preferences. Also I was able to pick up a $5 coil of wire that should last me a year or two of vaping...can't beat the cost factor.

Istick 30; the 50 has too many problems at this time.

As for how many watts you'll need for sub-ohm vaping, I can't help you--I've been vaping for years and never needed more than 20 watts myself.
