istick 40w problem

So today after charging my istick 40w I noticed that the metal on the back had lifted off the base and now the subtank sits slanted on it. Is there a fix for this? I haven't used it cause I'm afraid it's a battery issue and the whole thing will blow up. Thanks!

Yeah I wouldn't either. Is it still under warranty? Just plugged into a regular wall charger was it?

Thanks for the reply! I bought it 5 months ago so it should still be under warranty but not too sure. Yeah it's a regular eleaf wall charger. I don't want to buy a new battery but I might have to. Is it possible that I just over tightened the tank and it bent the metal?

I don't have that mod, but I'd be worried to. Make some posts in some other threads to get your post count up and post us a pic.

I recommend you Discontinue use! I have had several lithium-ion polymer batteries swell, usually during or after charging, or after dropped. (Most of these were not in e-cigarettes.)

Take the top off and set it on a flat surface? Have you seen these batteries vent? Pretty violent...
