iStick 50W Question/Concern

About two weeks ago I purchased the istick 50W. I use the Aspire Atlantis 2. Today I purchased the 0.3 ohm coils. I put a new one in and went through the normal process of letting it sit, etc. I fired it at low wattage until I go to my desired level of 30W. I locked the iStick. For some reason when I fired it, the wattage increased to 40W. I turned it off and then back on. I reset it to 32W and locked it again. This time the wattage has dropped to 24W. However, it is still locked. I've also noticed the numbers jumping around like crazy when I change the wattage. One second it says 27 then 40, so on and so forth. It's consistently firing at 24W, even though I set it to 32W and locked it. It currently reads 0.4 ohms, 24 watts and 3.1 volts while being fired. While sitting, it reads 0.3 ohms, 32 watts and 3. volts. I haven't had any problems until I switched coils today. I was using a 0.5 prior, but they were out so I bought the 0.3 ohm. Any ideas why this is happening, or advice?

I've owned an istick 50w for 6 months and never had a single problem with it.

Then again there have been numerous reports of everything from auto-firing to changing set wattage by itself and even worse. I'd keep a close eye on that one if I were you.
