Istick 50W question regarding volts / watts settings.

Little confused here...so I've got this piece of equipment with the up and down arrows locked at say 4.8 Volts. I notice that sometimes even with the button locked Ill pull it out of my pocket and see that the volts have changed to 4.7 or even 4.6.


So naturally I try and change it back to 4.8 and it reads "locked"

How is this changing with the lock feature enabled?

Probably due to the battery slowly draining. Even though its locked, I would imagine the battery is still draining.

Do you have it in wattage mode? In wattage mode it varies the volts automatically, based on resistance, to give the selected wattage (both watts and volts are shown on-screen). I suppose it's possible the atomizer resistance could be changing, due to loose connections or changes in temperature, and then the applied voltage could be changing to compensate.

I have seen some weirdness on mine too, I suspect that the buttons are being pressed in the pocket in a way to unlock the device, then change the setting...I've had mine switch from watts to volts too...I find it best to check the settings before vaping when pulling it out of my pocket...if I can remember

Switching from watts to volts and back again requires 3 presses of the fire button (whereas 5 presses turns the unit on and off).

Locked means the battery is discharged. You must charge it if you want to vape..

I'm pretty sure they mean the button lock, where you press both of them at the same time for a couple seconds to lock in the current setting so it doesn't get changed inadvertently while bouncing around in your pocket or purse.

I pulled mine outta my pocket the other night and the watts were on 50. LOL I thought damn glad I looked before vaping!
