ETA: For every istick 50W device that has failed, there are probably hundreds (if not thousands) that have been trouble free. That said, you really should know what you're getting yourself into before buying one. I still have and use mine but as I said in your other thread, I make sure to remove my atty whenever I'm not using it. I love the form factor and the battery life of the 50W but knowing what I know how, if I could do it all over again I'd choose a different device.

I'd stay away until Eleaf or Joyetech acknowledge the problem or that they indeed fixed the problem. I bought two about two months ago and one is dead and the other I'm just waiting to see. It's a great mod, but I do think buying one at this juncture is a crap shoot. And honestly, I think I'm done with 'closed' boxes, if I can't change my own batteries, I'm just staying away.

I have had no problems and my dad has had no problems with his.
Don't over charge it, pay attention to it. Keep it clean and don't get juice inside the charging port and you should be fine. I've dropped mine a few times and it's still flawless. Every device has problems, but a lot of people seem to focus on the negative problems more so than the people that never had problems.

I wouldn't buy one. I recommended one to a friend on a budget, looking to get into higher watts. He dropped it once from pocket height and the screen quit working. Meanwhile I've beat my MVP 2.0 and IPV 2S to death doing landscaping and they have never failed.

So between that and the piece of crap I found my Lemo to be, I'll never buy or recommend another eLeaf product.

I'll stop bombarding but one more thing to add, you will probably want more battery life if you're using subtanks, unless you get 2 istick 30s. That's why I'm kind of pressing on the one I posted, or the istick 50w. They will last about 2 days for me and I chain vape like a machine. But the 30w gets me through an 8 hour work day, which is all I want from it.

Yeah the mvp 3 pro is a beast, I also have the mvp 3 and it is very solid, but not too pocket friendly. It's heavy, big, and pointed corners led to a hole in my work pants. But...it is a beast and could be a quick weapon if you get attacked.

This is a good point. The istick doesn't have a removable battery so if it dies you are done until you get to a charger. Most of the other boxes on the market have removable batteries so you can carry spares and just change it out if it dies.

The yellow is sexy, I am trying to decide if I want one of these or a vaporshark now that the price has dropped.
That's funny I had that thing in a cart and all I had to to was hit "place order" I read a little bit into it and came to the conclusion that for the price, even though much lower, still didn't do much for me. The evic vt does everything with twice the battery life and looks better. Then I read about all the screen glitches and I just don't want that risk. Then again, I bought a mod that just came out, so that's a risk in itself lol. But yeah I saved $65 and am happy with my decision right now.
