istick advice

i got my new setup about a week ago, istick 50w and subtank mini
it has been great so far, still havent charged it yet. granted i dont really heavily vape
all day.. anyways i was wondering what you all think about using rdas on the istick?
ive read a few things about about rdas leaking and causing issues on the istick..
i would like to drip on it some but not if it may cause some problems.. any advice is appreciated.

I use a dripper on my istick 50w from time to time to test my DYI flavors. most of them are rather well sealed on the bottom so unless you turn it on its side, the juice should not come out.

I use kayfun lite on my eleaf istick 50w...
for better taste of e juices...
And for mouth to lung vaping...

The only issue, besides the relatively low wattage, that I have heard of is that continuous high heat can cause the plating on the top cap of the Istick to flake off. Some RBA's come with kind of a heat shield at the bottom, my advice is, if you have one of those shields, use it, otherwise just go for it. I use a dripper on mine once in a while, and it works just fine.

Don't over drip or lay the mod on the side and you won't leak from an RDA
I use an Aeolus and a subtank mini on my iStick 50w. I haven't had a problem, I use an RDA when I get a new flavor so I don't have to put it into a tank if I don't like it.

I use Foggers on my iSticks all the time, in my pocket, laying on their side, running around 20-25 watts depending on the specific build. No problems at all. The trick is to get the liquid channels filled with enough wick to prevent leaks, but I'm using rayon wck and that may be an advantage of rayon over cotton. I have no idea since I've never used cotton.

I have experienced one of my iStick 50watt auto firing.

I'm pretty careful when using it and make sure it remains upright due to the intermittent problem. Due to this problem I don't use drippers with it. It also will autofire when using an RTA (especially tanks with huge airflow slots) so I make sure to keep the 510 threads clean/dry.

I just got the same setup. Istick 50w, Subtank mini, and Mutation X V3 RDA. I'm running the 1.2 coil head on the mini at 20 watts, which is a nice smooth cool vape. I haven't rebuilt on the RTA section yet but I did just build my first dual coil setup on the Mutation V3. 26g kanthal, 6 wraps.... came to 0.5. Running that at 40 watts, which is nice also. Still haven't had to recharge yet, haven't even got to 50% battery yet. I'm loving this thing.

I use an RDA on my 50, and I haven't had any issues. I just try not to over-drip so nothing spews before I can re-cap the dripper....

I don't build anything less than 0.5Ω, and I've never fired much above 24W. It works well for me....
