Yep. the iStick uses Mean. I'm asking if anyone knows if the mini is using Mean or RMS. I'm actually hoping it's Mean. I love the size of the mini, but 10W is just a tad too low for me on a device that uses RMS. If the mini uses Mean, 10W will be a little hotter and may be perfect for me.

I've heard rumors that the V2 of the full size may be RMS and with an adjustable pin, fwiw. But I suspect the mini will also use mean.

Sorry but in PWM, the highest voltage you can select, is normally the voltage of the pulses, so at the highest voltage there is no significative difference between RMS and mean.

Just take a look to see how similar they are.

Hello my Forum friends. I just finished my review of the mini iStick if anyone is interested.

Been using the iStick 20 for over a month, it will go for two days without recharging the battery, seems like a quality product.

They are certainly keeping up with the times, that new 50 might be a good product too if its reasonably priced.
