I pulled out my Pico from my 2019 stash and I used it for a month now its telling me no atomizer. I mess with the atomizer usually unscrewing it and it reads but not correctly. My coil is 0.5 and it is reading 0.77 ohm and 4.39 v at 25 w. Other than the watts this changes every time I have to mess with it. I suspect the pin is broken. Any ideas?

All I can think of is that the Pico is really sensitive to bad connections. Maybe you already did this but I would start with a thorough clean of the 510 and the battery connections, and the threads on the battery cap.

The ones with the copper coloured top plate are the worst for gunge build up in the threads.

I guess it could always be a mod issue, but I'd lean toward the tank being the culprit first.

- Clean the 510 on both the tank and the mod very well with some rubbing alcohol.

- If this is an RTA, tighten down the coil legs and if that doesn't work then a recoil is in order.

- If it's a factory coil tank, remove the coil and clean the tank very well then try a new coil or reinsert the old ole. If reinsert the old one and still problems, try new coil.

- If above doesn't work, try other tanks.

I dont have those. Mine are silver.

I got a couple of the copper coloured ones because they looked cool. Problem is green gunk grows in the battery cap threads which is quite hard to clean out. I had to loosen it with a dental pick in order to clean it out. I stopped using them and stick with the silver ones. That's why I mentioned it.

I agree with @UncleJunkle though. Your problem sounds more like it's related to the tank rather than the Pico.

Green residue from brass and copper go hand in hand with the salt and moisture on your skin.

    (sigh)

Almost all my mods get seemingly married to a atomizer and battery(s) for the life of the mod. Sadly the springs in many mods 510 connectors may or not recover from having a atomizer with a long 510 fitted to it and early on I found I wrecked more battery doors replacing batteries then I would like to admit to.

Recovery options for 510 fittings are: try a different atomizer (different length) and 510 'heat sinks' and/or 'spacers' used to be available that MIGHT make a connection to the mod so that the atomizer can be screwed onto that and work again.

Last but not least, some atomizers center pin is a actual screw that might be adjusted out slightly to make the connection.

A quick check of the eleafworld website lists the Pico at a mere $39 to replace.

I still have a number of Istick Picos in shrink wrapped boxes from years ago (private stash). I caught a vendor going out of business and purchased a dozen. Like they say, the time to buy it is when you see it.

BTW, Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC Mod $21.90 | Kit $33.99 has the Pico mod only for sale cheap at $21.90.

I have the same problem, incidentally my Pico was also in storage for a couple of years, but I don’t think it’s because of that, because it worked fine for a while. But I’ve been living near the beach for a couple of months now, and that’s when it started, so I think I just have to clean the contact points really well. Everything rusts really fast here, I’m not all that surprised…
I do think it’s not because of the atomizer, because I’m using a new one.

Yup! Ditto. I have a handful each of the pico, mega, 21700 and squeeze2's in my stock pile.

Ok mods if you don't require a bunch of power and multiple batteries. I still have/use my first one that I got when they were first introduced. In fact it may still have the same LG brown I dropped in it when I unpacked and set it up. :)

IDK what a pack of smokes goes for these days but when I switched I was spending ~$200 a month.

IMHO: a new pico even at list price is dirt cheap compared to smoking!
