So my istick won't charge. Unless I hold up on charging cable.
any help on fixing this issue. I love this battery
iedDo you have another cable so you can determine if it is indeed the cable and not the usb port? If not, find something to hold it up. I am hoping its the cable and not the usb port. Cables can be replaced and so can the mod but cables are cheaper.

The USB port on Picos is more vulnerable to the problem you mention than other mods. A metal part that holds the usb cable in place can come loose. I did it to one of mine by using a cable with a sticky connector and forcing the issue. I've seen a youtube video where it was successfully repaired but not worth doing unless government interference makes mods unobtainable. The last Pico i bought cost $20. It's my favorite mod regardless of that problem.
Does it start out at 5 wattsRocky Mountain Vapor has the Eleaf iStick Pico for $30 with a 30% discount using the code "turkey". Final price is $21 with free USPS ground ship. Mine's on the way right now. It uses a single replaceable 18650 and will also charge through the USB port, which means that you can still charge and replace the battery if the port gets damaged, which is a plus.

Thanks for replying. Everyone on this thread Is greatMicro USB ports are a pain to replace. I spent some time trying to replace one on my nephew's Galaxy tablet and was almost through when I went back to re-melt a cold joint on the board. When I did, it lifted the trace and made it virtually unrepairable. I was wearing a magnifier headset and using a paper clip wrapped around a Weller soldering tip to prevent damage. Go figure! It was an hour of wasted time for me.
I'm an experienced field engineer who did this kind of stuff for a living, except most of the time we replaced entire boards and sent them back to an outside vendor with micro soldering stations. It wasn't worth our time in the field.
In the case of the Pico $21 w/free shipping is a good deal to solve that problem.
Thanks. I am lucky to have the 21$ to order one. No I just hope the 18650 battery I have worksRocky Mountain Vapor has the Eleaf iStick Pico for $30 with a 30% discount using the code "turkey". Wish I could win somethingEleaf website says the Pico goes down to 1 watt. I just recently won one of the new ones with bronze trim. Can't wait to get my hands on it! Have several forum friends very pleased with theirs.
