iSub Tank - observations / questions

Hello all

I am new here, but not new to vaping. I use a coolfire 4 and got myself an iSub tank last week. Went for the plastic one to start with, just in case I don't like it. But so far I am happy although it took a me day or 2 to get used to direct lung hits.

Some observations:
- stealth vape is impossible - this thing chucks out plumes that make a steam train jealous
- the coil seems to last a long time? I have had it for a week now and it still tastes and looks good.
- even though there is so much vapour coming out, I don't seem to go through juice at an insane amount, I expected more, but I use a similar amount to my old Aspire K1

Some questions:
- I know that the plastic may crack with menthol juice - anyone tried Mint yet though? I don't want to break it, so I'd rather not be the first tester, if it can be avoided
- how long do your coils last? How many duds do you get on average per replacement set ?
- other than obviously being made from glass, any other differences between the iSub G and its plastic brother?

I have both the plastic and the G. I have used just about every type juice in the plastic with no issues so far. The glass one comes apart differently the top is not one piece. The glass take is not attached to the top.

I have both, I haven't tried any acidic ones in the plastic tank yet. Glass one comes fully apart whereas you can't take the top part off the plastic tank and the glass one is slightly taller

That sounds good. I may order the glass tank next month and then try some of my tank crackers in the plastic version, just in case it doesn't hold up. But the pink plastic one is so pretty

I wish they would make some coloured glass ones....

One more thing I have noticed.... my 12mg juice really doesn't taste nice in it. I can taste the nicotine (a peppery taste) - yuck - need to go down to 6mg asap....

Yeah 12mg is way to high in a sub ohm tank I use 6mg in the isub and 12mg in my non sub ohm tanks

yup - agreed - i generally stick to 6mg or less on a sub ohm coil

I was fine the first couple of days but now.... urgh... especially first thing in the morning - I could swear someone has added japaleno extract to my juice

Yeah, you might want to tone down the nic a bit going subohm. I did.
