Quick note before I begin and I apologize for the length....
BIO: I was a 2-3 pack a day smoker for over 15 years I smoked everything from A-Z that had nicotine in it. I managed to quit smoking in 2007 for 2 years legitimately I didn't cheat, not once! Then like many people before me had my batchelor party and all that changed. I had a few cigars and smoked a pipe for awhile. Well that became a once in awhile thing because, I realized you know what? I really just enjoy smoking and the fact my best friend of 14 years and now new wife who hated me smoking was "ok" with a once in awhile cigar. I unfortunately, found Prime Times yummy cigars.
I however, didn't like the idea of all the chemicals I was putting into my body and all of the various health problems that come with smoking. Not to mention the fact I have to go out to my garage to do such things being banished from my house. Which really sucks in this weather we are having here. So one night I saw a commercial for an ecig I wont name it but we all know the one I'm talking about. So I started researching this new ecig thing. After reading many, many forums and watching numerous videos I decided to jump right in and order a GLV2 from Great Lakes Vapor.
So after weeks of anticipation my glv2 finally arrived at my door today. A welcome surprise in this -29c with the feels like of -38c "-20f with the feels like -36 for the rest of you folks" degree weather outside.
I opened it up and let it warm up charged up the batteries with the batteries charged then had a flash "my excitement was getting the best of me" oh crap I have to be at work! So I packed everything up and off I went with my new kit comprised of 5 flavors of juice from electronic-cigz.com and the two flavors I received from Great Lakes Vapor not to mention some attys, cartos and drip tips.
Since my work affords me the time I decided I would spend the rest of my shift playing with my new "toy. Thankfully as I mentioned before I have watched enough youtube videos and read enough forum posts "bless the internet" that I knew what I was doing with all this new fangled gizmo.
I have to say... I pretty much played and vaped for a solid 3 hours
I can honestly say I almost wished I didn't buy it because this PV is not only beautiful, using it is like a dream. Being I am a first time vaper and this is my first mod it surpassed my every expectation my first thought was this thing is FANTASTIC! And that sentiment just continued on and on the more I used it.
I came home from work and continued to vape away showing off my new toy. It was then my wife "who I have to thank for allowing me to indulge in my addiction" says so? are you going to "vape" all the time now? And I honestly didn't have an answer because... In the end I just might since I get such enjoyment out of it.
As with others I should say I wasn't paid to say this it's just my first impression of the mod.
"I don't know if they will ever see this in the new members forum" But, I would like to thank Jay for making such a great mod and Sara for having such great customer service. " I was a little ADHD on the emails and she responded to every one with composure and humor".
Thanks ECF for allowing me to have a soap box to tell my story hopefully others will find this post useful. If you have any questions feel free I may be a lowly newb but always willing to help when I can.
Cheers,
