Well I'm extremely new to the vape scene, but I bought an 808 starter kit from firelight last week and was suprised to actually enjoy it. Another plus...I havent touched the last can of dip I bought the day the 808 arrived at my house!

So fast forward to today, I found out there is a vape shop (Vapors Lounge in Richmond) and decided to visit after I got off work today. Welp, I did go there, with the intention of NOT BUYING ANYTHING!, but my impulsive side got the best of me, hah.

I walked out with an eGo C Upgrade, the 1000mah passthrough version. I also got a Kanger T2 1.8ohm clearo for it and some extra wicks and a couple juices. 65 bucks later and a quick ride home, I AM AMAZED! The difference between this eGo and my Fusion is phenomenal! I can TASTE the juice, the throat hit is amazing, and I can proudly say I'm blowing CLOUDS.

After a little trial and error I found that using the constant voltage mode (3.3v) works a bit better than the variable mode, but it's not too noticeable.

I had to come and tell people who would probably understand how I feel about this upgrade to eGo and clearos, as I have no friends or know no one who vapes. So yall get to hear it! :D

Also, 1 question...with the eGo upgrade, am I making the correct choice of using 3.3 volts with a 1.8ohm clearo? My juice is a 60/40 pg/vg blend if that matters...as I said I'm very new to all this so any info helps!

Thanks everyone, yay me!

If 3.3V works for you, then it's OK.

Personally, I have a Twist and run my 1.8 ohm atty at 4.5 V. Lots more vapor that way.
But it still vapes OK at 3.3 V. Just less vapor.

PS...Don't let people tell you that you can't use 1.8 ohms. That's all I've used for years. No problems of any kind. And lots more vapor than higher-resistance atty's. Yeh, it draws more current, but that's how you get more vapor.

I think the best thing about vaping is that it's "Your Way"! You set your standard. Feel free to try things at different settings or different blends until you are happy with what you're getting.

I've got one of the eGo-T v2 "upgrade" batts I take to work with me, let me run 3.3V regulated or I can turn it off and roll 4.2-3.4 unregulated (power tapers with use).

It's for work, thus not a VV or mod. Don't wanna feel all that bad if it gets dinged up or lost...

I concur on the 1.8 ohms. The "stick" batts like the 808 and original 510 died a faster than expected deth using sub 2.0 attachments. It would work, but a battery of that size would have to work REALLY HARD to push those amps to the carto (if it could at all). Then be depleted in just a few mins.
